Details

Cribbage Board #11 was comissioned as a wedding present for a fellow swim coach and long time friend. The method of construction is totem-like, with laminated organic forms from exotic hardwoods. The bottom of the board has a pocket (with a copper cover) for storing the pegs.

Below is a view showing the 3 alternating hardwoods and the pegs. This board is a 3-track board with a game-scoring area. Although it is difficult to see it in this picture, the brass pegs can be distinguished by the direction of the "grain" (longitudinal or lateral).

This view is shown here to illustrate the polish achieved on the top surface of the board. "Baby's Bottom" is the description and feel that I strive to achieve.
